The steering committee is established to coördinate the activities of the Allergy Consortium Wageningen. Researchers of different expertise fields in allergy research are members of the steering committee. The main task of the steering committee is to develop the strategy of ACW.
Together they are working on:
presentation ot the Wageningen (allergyprevention-)researchfields via PhD- projects
integration of new and existing knowledge of allergyprevention
development of strategies for allergyprevention
This takes place by structural meetings, combining knowledge of different disciplines and accompanying of junior researchers (promovendi and post-docs).
Luud Gilissen (chairman), Huub Savelkoul and Harry Wichers are forming the daily management.
The international advisory board advises the steering committe (asked and unasked).
